Both are larger, older, independently audited and ship calendars, contacts and polished native apps. Both have free tiers you can evaluate at no cost, and both offer a refund window. If a published third-party audit is a hard requirement, they have one and we do not.
Gmail's filtering, search and integration are genuinely excellent and cost nothing. Zoho gives you a full business suite on your own domain for a few dollars a month. If you do not care that the provider can read your mail, neither of those is a bad decision and we will not pretend otherwise.
Newsletters, sequences and cold outreach are prohibited here and enforced automatically — a suspension with no refund. Use a platform built for bulk sending. The restriction is the only reason our shared domain reputation is worth anything.

Depends which layer of anonymity you need. Look for four properties: no phone or ID at signup, a payment rail that does not carry your legal name, content encryption where the provider holds no usable key, and a plainly stated jurisdiction and retention policy. inbox.my meets all four. Tuta and OnionMail meet most. Gmail meets none.
For three things Gmail structurally cannot sell you: an address short enough to say out loud once, content the provider cannot read, and a signup that does not tie a phone number to your identity. If none of those matter to you, Gmail is excellent and free — genuinely, use it.
Almost no established encrypted provider does — the mainstream privacy services are subscription-only. Lifetime deals do exist from smaller email-hosting resellers, but those are typically shared cPanel-style mailboxes with no end-to-end encryption and no address scarcity. Compare what is actually in the box, not just the word "lifetime".
